Limited edition Dia de los Muertos marigold flower scented candle with exclusive label artwork designed by local El Paso artist and latina, Christin Apodaca.
Ofrendas are an essential part of the Day of the Dead celebrations. The word ofrenda means offering in Spanish. They are also called altares or altars, but they are not for worship. Ofrendas are set up to remember and honor the memory of their ancestors. For each deceased relative, a candle is set. Their light is thought to guide them on their way back. Marigold flowers or Cempasuchil, are set on the ofrenda representing the fugacity of life.

Beautifully packaged and they smell wonderful
I was so excited to get my Cempasúchil candles! Being away from El Paso is hard, but less so with these beauties. Thank you for these lovely candles. Their light, sweet aroma is unlike any I have ever smelled, and Christin’s art is one of a kind.🖤 I light them every day and think of home. ❤️
