WHAT IS YOUR WAX MADE OF?
Our wax is made of a premium soy blend wax. Our candles produce a long, clean burn. The lower melting point of our wax also prevents tunneling and residue build-up and provides a fragrant experience.
WHAT IS FREE LOCAL PICK UP?
We offer free local pick up for customers within the local area. Local pick up is in El Paso, TX only. Please do not select local pick up at check out if you are not in the area, your order will be cancelled.
WHEN DO YOU SHIP ITEMS OUT?
Due to high temperatures, we ship all orders out Monday through Wednesday. If you place an order on a Thursday-Sunday, that order will not be shipped out until Monday. We do this to ensure packages are not sitting over the weekend with postal carriers warehouses or vehicles in the warmer or hot days so your candle won't melt.
DO YOU USE LEAD WICKS?
Nope. The consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) voted unanimously to ban the manufacture and sale of lead-cored wicks and candles with lead-cored wicks in October of 2003. Cultura Candle Co. uses pure unbleached cotton wicks.
WHAT KIND OF FRAGRANCE OILS DO YOU USE?
Cultura Candle Co. uses a combination of natural, essential and fragrance oils. This allows our fragrances to be very complex and diverse and gives us a wide range of raw materials to choose from when creating new and exciting fragrances. It also allows our fragrances to be more consistent from batch to batch.
ARE YOUR CANDLES ORGANIC?
Regardless of what some manufacturers may claim, no candle can actually be certified organic. (The solvents used in the hydrogenation process of any natural wax make that physically impossible).
ARE YOUR PRODUCTS GLUTEN-FREE?
Yes, materials used in the manufacturing of our candles are gluten-free. Please don’t eat our candles.
DOES CULTURA CANDLE CO. TEST ON ANIMALS?
No, all of our products are vegan and cruelty-free. We do not test our products or ingredients on animals. Plus, that's messed up.
IS THERE A PROPER WAY TO BURN YOUR CANDLES?
Simon! A candle burn is affected by several factors including size and shape of vessel, wick, fragrance oil, temperature/draft in the room, etc. The key to achieving the perfect burn is to always allow your candle to completely liquefy across the top before blowing it out to avoid tunneling. Before each burn, make sure your wick is trimmed to ¼”. Don’t drop debris, like matches or wick trimmings, into the wax. Don’t place your burning candle on sensitive or uneven surfaces. Discontinue burning your candle when about ½” of wax remains.
IS SHIPPING FREE?
Shipping is free when you order $30 or more and ship within the 48 contiguous states. If you live outside the contiguous U.S., we offer affordable shipping rates via USPS, which are automatically calculated during checkout.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY ORDER TO ARRIVE?
We begin processing your order as soon as we receive it. Due to the high volume of orders, processing takes 2 to 3 business days (and orders placed after 12PM PST are processed the next business day). Orders typically deliver within 3 to 5 business days from when we ship your order. You’ll get a shipment notification email with a tracking number as soon as your package ships. Please note, once a package is picked up and scanned in by our carrier, the shipping and delivery status is no longer within our control. We are unable to replace missing or stolen packages at this time. Please reach out directly to the courier for missing or stolen packages. We are not responsible for shipping addresses that were incorrectly entered at checkout.
DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

If you received a damaged or defective Cultura Candle, please send a photo to firstname.lastname@example.org for our Quality Assurance team, and we will ship you a replacement right away.
